    Card Issuer & Use
    Agreement to Terms
    • By purchasing or using a gift card, you accept these terms.
    • Terms may change at any time without notice.
    • Please inform recipients of the expiry date and terms.
    Purchase & Activation
    • Only electronic gift cards (eGift Cards) are available.
    • Cards must be activated and paid for to have value.
    How to Use
    • Redeemable online only at www.ripcurl.co.za.
    • If the purchase exceeds the card value, the difference must be paid.
    • If the purchase is less, the remaining balance stays on the card (no cash change given).
    Expiry Date
    • Expires 1 year from the date of issue.
    • Remaining balance cannot be used after expiry.
    • Cards cannot be reactivated.
    Restrictions
    • Cannot be:
      • Reloaded
      • Used for cash or cash advances
      • Used to buy other gift cards
      • Resold or modified without written consent
      • Used for Click & Collect orders
    • Items bought with a gift card can be refunded to a new gift card or exchanged.

    • Rip Curl’s system provides final information on balance, expiry, and usage.
    Lost or Stolen Cards
    • Treat as cash – lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced.

    Liability
    • Cardholders are responsible for security and use of their gift card.
    • Rip Curl is not liable for any loss or damage except as required by law.
    • If liability arises, your sole remedy is replacement of the card.
    Privacy
    • ID may be required for certain uses.
    • Personal information may be collected during purchase or redemption.
